This is an opportunity for the community of business aviation to come together to voice our concerns and say to those on Capitol Hill in the general aviation sector, the backbone of the airline industry, including small businesses in Washington, DC, Washington State.
It is also time to put together with the local newspapers and media in order to highlight the economic value of business aviation. We need to stop, start and afraid of the press to raise awareness of the importance of industry and small businesses that play an important role in general aviation to increase, the U.S. economy and the thousands of small towns in this country, to small airports rely on access to national and global air transport. Inviting members of local media for your business to a local airport to give them a hand to look at the people you employ and aviation business offers added value to the local economy. If we do not do everything and start making a push for more media attention, we continue to fight an uphill battle against the two on and off Capitol Hill.
