Qingdao waste oil, aviation fuel shipment to the Netherlands

Previously reported Qingdao ‘waste oil’ exported to the Netherlands for aviation fuel issue recently has progressed to 20 tons of refining biodiesel samples from waste oil processing from Qingdao Port to the Netherlands, which is one of the first out of the waste oil processing products in China.

20 tons of biodiesel is taken from waste oil in recent years.Zheng Dehua ,the deputy general manager of Qingdao Forisy Co.Ltd.said these bio-diesel will be able to comply with national BD100 standards after further processing,” but because of cost and other factors, the Netherlands finally purchase the final product, choosing instead to semi-finished products.

At 2:00 on March 26, the South Korean cargo ship Veracruz, loaded with 20 tons biodiesel produced & processed from the waste oil by the Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. ,slowly left the Qingdao port berth, driving Amsterdam port, Netherlands . “After secondary processing, these bio-diesel become jet fuel.” The Zheng Dehua told reporters that the actual purchaser of the batch of oil for the time being disclosed.

According Zheng Dehua,after finalizing the contract,it is difficult to go through the formalities of export.China has never exported similar goods. These waste oil after multiple processing has become reborn, but not any after complete processing.”Zheng Dehua said After several rounds of testing, consultation, discussion, relevant departments of the final batch of oil classified as “non-edible oils and fats, and wiped away the barriers to exports.

Zheng Dehua said, I believe that this successful export will promote the development of other regular waste oil recycling and processing enterprises.
